Espresso Martini Ingredients

- Coffee liquor. The most common coffee liqueur is Kahlua.
- Espresso. If you don’t have espresso, substitute a strongly brewed coffee

How to Make an Espresso Martini?
- Make an Espresso. 1. Make an espresso. Let the coffee cool for a few minutes so the ice does not dilute the drink.
- Add vodka, coffee liqueur, and espresso in a shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. The harder you shake it, the more foam will form in your drink.
- Serve it in your martini glass. You will see how the foam is produced and it remains until the top of the cocktail
- Garnish with coffee beans or orange twits

What is Kahlua?
Kahlua is Made with 100% Arabica coffee beans, rum, sugar, and coffee. Since standard Kahlua is only made with those three ingredients, it is dairy free.
Recipe variation
You can use flavored vodka like:
- Vanilla, Chocolate, Coffee
- Change the coffee liqueur for Baileys or black cream of cacao
- Add a little almond or vanilla essence
- Use Bourbon instead of Vodka
How Strong is an Espresso Martini?
The martini is by no means a light drink. That’s why it is served short and rarely poured over 2 or 3 ounces. With the standard 80-proof vodka.

Espresso (60ml): 80mg. Decaffeinated (150 ml) 3 mg. Americano (354 ml): 154 mg.
Instant (236ml): 57mg.
