According to the History of the Creation of the Bloody Mary Cocktail, it is often credited to Fernand Petiot in the 1920s, at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris. It seems that he simply spiced up an already existing by a combination of vodka and tomato juice.

Red snapper
After Prohibition ended, Petiot oversaw King Cole Bar at the St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan. He brought his signature cocktail to New York City and named it the Red Snapper. Petiot reinvented the cocktail, adding horseradish, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice, and celery salt to his base recipe.

How to Make Bloody Mary?
Although this Bloody Mary recipe may seem like many ingredients are needed to obtain a delicious result, the truth is that this is not really the case and besides, it is super easy to prepare, so I will guide you step by step!
1.- In a medium serving pitcher add the tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, pepper, and salt to create our homemade Bloody Mary mix, at the end mix well until combined!
2.-Stir Bloody Marys mix to recombine and serve in Collins glasses
3.-Garnish with a celery stick and other items as desired!

This cocktail is very popular, especially in places where there is beach, heat, and hot sand, in my years working managing bars in the hospitality industry we had a high consumption of Bloody Marys and Bloody Caesars, so if you have not tried this cocktail yet I invite you to prepare it and judge for yourself its incredible flavor and contributions to the body, especially as a hangover cure, this is heaven for them!

Tequila– Use Reposado tequila instead vodka to enhance the flavor with the complexity of the agave!
